Our mission was inspired by the captivating stories and unbelievable struggles of our nation’s former atomic workers who sacrificed their health and their lives to protect our country and serve in our nation’s nuclear weapons complex. It is a true honor to serve the men and women whose service and sacrifice not only brought about incredible scientific innovation, but also played an essential role in our nation’s defense during World War II, throughout the Cold War, and into the present day.
